As the owner of Custom Care Solutions, Mandy is deeply committed to providing exceptional customer service and fostering a positive work environment for our caregivers. Her journey in the home health care industry began in 1987 here in the Coachella Valley, where she had the privilege of working alongside her grandmother, Joan H. Walker. In 1971 Mandy’s Grandmother recognized the need for quality In Home Care services in the greater Palm Springs area and founded her company, Health Concepts, Inc. Her Grandmother’s mentorship for over 16 years instilled in Mandy a profound passion for serving both her clients, staff, and the community.
Following her grandmother’s passing, Mandy felt a strong calling to continue her Grandmother’s legacy, which inspired her to form Custom Care Solutions. Mandy’s dedication to her clients drives her to continually educate herself on the latest advancements in home health care, ensuring that her company provides the highest quality of service to those who place their trust in her agency.
At Custom Care Solutions, our success is defined by the positive impact we make on our clients’ lives and the supportive environment we create for our caregivers. Mandy is grateful for the opportunity to serve her community and looks forward to continuing this important work.

In home care providers can contribute so much to the quality of life for Alzheimer’s patients as well as anyone disabled or convalescing. Not only in utilizing skilled professional’s expertise in developing and monitoring, a specific plan of care, but sometimes just having a fresh new set of eyes on a situation that has become overwhelming for a family caregiver. Custom Care Solutions,
having experienced so many of the problems facing our aging community, has seen first-hand the positive response from Alzheimer’s patients, stroke recovery patients and more, as a result of in home care and companionship. It is through these experiences that we have developed such a dedication and passion for care at home.
Each and every patient whether it be an Alzheimer’s patient, or post-surgical recovery, to companionship at home, has specific needs and requirements. There are many components to the patient’s plan of care. How much time is the family able to help? Does the family caregiver need training to effectively care for the patient? Is an in home care provider needed for trips to the doctor’s office or grocery store? The list goes on and on. One of the most important services that an in home care provider can do is, have a periodic assessment done by a registered nurse that can report changes in the patient’s condition to the physician and family so changes can be made as required.
As a responsible in home care provider with over 20 years combined experience, and a company that has cared for numerous Alzheimer’s patient’s on a daily basis, we would like you to take a moment to read our monthly newsletter. It offers ideas and insight that may be helpful to the family caregiver, as well as arm yourself with knowledge of what you should expect of any in home care provider you may work with.
